Our client has operations around the globe and is looking for an experienced Controller to join their corporate head office in Winnipeg.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Controller is responsible for managing the delivery and development of financial and management information relating to the assigned division. The wide scope of responsibilities includes financial reporting and analysis, implementation and maintenance of internal systems, preparation of budget information, preparation of regular forecasts and year end reporting. Strong financial, analytical and interpersonal skills as well as superior written and verbal communication skills are vital.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Minimum of 5 years related accounting experience.
Demonstrated ability to prepare financial / management reports and conduct financial analysis.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Must have keen attention to detail with strong organizational skills, be able to meet deadlines and operate with a high level of accuracy.
A sound working knowledge of information systems.
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel and other MS Suite applications.
Strong work ethic and ability to work in a process oriented environment.
Competitive base salary plus attractive incentive package is offered for the right candidate.
EDUCATION:
CMA or CGA preferred
