The Winnipeg Free Press has an exciting and new opportunity for radio sales in the Winnipeg marketplace. We are looking for a freelance sales specialist to assist in selling our vested interest in a local sports radio program.
This position reports directly to the project manager for the Free Press’s interest in this sports radio program. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing advertising sales while representing the Winnipeg Free Press in a professional manner.

Responsibilities:

• Sales to direct clients and ad agencies – New business development is required
• Grow existing accounts

Qualifications:

• Proven track record in advertising / media sales – preferably within a radio environment
• The ability to work independently without supervision while staying self motivated
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Brilliant knowledge of the sales process
• Must be a closer
