Investment Performance & Reporting Analyst

The Organization:
The Civil Service Superannuation Board (CSSB), established in 1939, provides investment management, pension and insurance benefits administration and client communication services for approximately 45,000 members and stakeholders of the Province of Manitoba and associated boards, commissions and crown corporations.

The Position:
Reporting to the Manager, Investment Communications & Management Services, the Investment Performance & Reporting Analyst, will work in a team-oriented environment ensuring timely investment performance measurement, reporting and analysis of the investment operations.
The Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Timely review and certification of compliance with investment policies and mandates;
- Reporting on investment activities and results;
- Performing portfolio reconciliations and investment accounting functions;
- Entering securities transactions and prices in the portfolio management system;
- Provide assistance in the calculation, verification and monitoring of investment performance and attribution analysis for all asset classes in the portfolios.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be a dedicated, hard working individual and possess: - A post secondary education with experience in investment operations and performance analytics;
- Strong mathematical skills with an aptitude for accuracy and attention to details;
- The ability to meet tight deadlines;
- Superior oral and written communication skills;
- Proficient in the use of Word and Excel software applications.
The successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course would be a definite asset.
